What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade went live in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the more info bonus tabtrade review terms, is at Trade The Day.
