TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
